A CAR blaze – believed to have been started deliberately – sent burning fuel streaming down a street.
Firefighters from Keighley and Bingley tackled the inferno, last night.
They used two hose reels and a large water jet to both deal with the burning Renault Clio – which was parked in Braithwaite Avenue, Keighley – and the stream of fuel.
"The vehicle – which was well alight when we arrived – was destroyed but we managed to stop the fire spreading to other vehicles parked further down the street," said crew commander Dom Creed, of Keighley fire station.
Crews – called out to the incident at 10.30pm – spent about an-hour-and-a-half at the scene.
Police also attended and are investigating.
