BRADFORD Council has clarified what local Covid-19 restrictions mean for people living in the district.
All wards in the district will be subject to the restrictions, banning the mixing of households in homes and gardens, from Tuesday (September 22).
However, there was some confusion over whether different households could meet in public venues like pubs and restaurants, with contradictory advice seemingly given by Government and Bradford Council.
In a statement this evening, the Council said: "To clarify yesterday’s government Covid restriction changes.
"From Tuesday (September 22) across all of Bradford district, you cannot have anyone in your home or garden who isn’t part of your household or bubble.
"You are also strongly advised against meeting people who are not part of your household or bubble in public venues such as pubs, restaurants, parks etc."
