COVID-19 cases at a further four Bradford schools have been highlighted to the Telegraph & Argus.

It comes as many schools across the district, both primary and secondary, have seen cases emerge among pupils and staff.

In a letter on September 16, Co-op Grange Academy, Haycliffe Lane, confirmed it had been notified of a case within the school.

It said: "The small number of children who have been in direct prolonged contact with the confirmed case will have received an individual letter and will be staying at home for 14 days.

"The school remains open and your child should continue to attend if they remain well."

Earlier in the week, on September 14, Carlton Bolling, Undercliffe Lane, also alerted parents to say there had been a confirmed case in school.

"The small number of children who have been in direct prolonged contact with the Covid-19 confirmed student have received an individual letter and will be staying at home for 14 days," said the letter.

"They will access their learning remotely via Google Classrooms or a paper-based resource. The school remains open and your child should continue to attend."

Meanwhile, Lidget Green Primary School said a member of its school community had tested positive.

A letter said: "The small number of adults who have been in direct prolonged contact with the confirmed case will have received and individual letter and will be staying home for 14 days. No children have had direct contact with the member of staff."

The school remains open.

At Clayton St. John CE Primary School, a statement on the website says: "Unfortunately a child in Y5 has had a positive test for COVID-19.  We have a plan in place to deal with this eventuality.

"The relevant families have been informed and they know what to do.  The rest of school is unaffected and will continue as normal.
