THERE will be a rare treat for trainspotters in the Bradford area this weekend, when the only steam locomotive built in Britain since 1960 comes to town.
The LNER Peppercorn Class A1 60163 ‘Tornado’ steam train was completed in Darlington in 2008.
It is making a journey from the County Durham town to Liverpool tomorrow, and will pass through the area when it stops at Brighouse railway station at 11.05am.
It will stay at the station for 20 minutes before continuing on its trip, and will again come to the town on its return journey, arriving at 8.10pm before departing at 8.27pm.
This rare treat is one not to be missed for locomotive fans from the district.
If you head down to see the Tornado, please send your photos to newsdesk@telegraphandargus.co.uk.
