Two Bradford men have been given suspended prison sentences after smuggling heroin into a prison.
Sadeeq Khan and Junaid Hussain were seen by a warder passing the drugs to an inmate during a visit to Leeds Prison in January this year.
The pair were detained immediately, Leeds Crown Court was told.
Khan, 27, of Sunningdale, Rhodesway, and Hussain, 21, of Silverhill Road, Thornbury, had earlier pleaded guilty to supplying heroin.
After studying psychiatric reports Judge Jonathan Durham-Hall QC sentenced the men, who had no relevant previous convictions, to 12 months' imprisonment suspended for two years with a two-year supervision order. Hussain was also ordered to carry out 80 hours' unpaid work in the community.
