POLICE stopped a van for two defective front tyres and because the driver's view was blocked by stock.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit stopped a white Ford Transit van in Bradford at around 12.10pm today.
They pulled it over for two main reasons.
Firstly, the vehicle's two front tyres had insufficient tread.
Secondly, the van's stock was piled high in the front nearside seat, which blocked the driver's view from the left.
This was despite there being "plenty of room" in the rear storage area of the van.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Vehicle had two defective tyres to front with insufficient tread.
"The stock was piled high in front nearside seat blocking view from left even though there was plenty of room in rear storage area."
