POLICE have seized a vehicle that had no proof it was on a garage's trade policy even though the manager was in the car.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit was out in Bradford today when they spotted a silver Honda HR-V.
It showed up as having no current insurance.
Police stopped the car, as a result.
The driver claimed the vehicle was covered on a local garage's trade policy, but they had no proof, according to a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson.
This was despite the garage's manager being in the car as well.
The vehicle was seized.
The driver was reported to court.
