A CLASS 'bubble' has been collapsed after a staff member at a Bradford school tested positive for Covid-19.
The case at Appleton Academy, Wyke, was confirmed to the Telegraph & Argus this afternoon.
A spokesperson for Exceed Academies Trust, which runs the school, said the school was notified this morning that the staff member had tested positive for the virus.
They added: "Following advice from Public Health England’s Local Health Protection Team, the Year 5 class bubble has been collapsed and all parents and staff notified.
"The school remains open to all other pupils.
"We wish to reassure our parents that we are continuing to monitor the situation closely and are working closely with Public Health England to ensure that we can continue to operate safely."
