ONE of Bradford's fastest rising rap groups have seen their profile boosted after receiving support from one of Britain's most successful artists.

Bassline rappers Bad Boy Chiller Crew have gained a cult following after rising to fame on social media through viral stunts, comedy videos and rapping. Their rapid growth has caught the attention of Robbie Williams, who tweeted his support for the group earlier this month.

The 'Angels' singer, who is one of the most successful British artists of all time, tweeted a homage to BBCC's 2019 song 'Bradford Crew' and their latest single, released last month, titled 'Guns Up'.

He said: "Bradford crew Bradford sound. Every time I hit the town I go daft hit JD and spent 5 wraps."

Many of his fans were confused by the tweet, but it caught the attention of fans of the BBCC who were quick to acknowledge Robbie for his support of and interest in the group.

After steadily growing a following in Bradford and on social media the group were featured on Radio 1 earlier this year, with their song '450' receiving airtime. The group were also featured in a documentary by online broadcaster Vice detailing their rise from Bradford council estates to online fame.
