THE University of Bradford is calling on students to document their experiences of lockdown for a new blog writing competition.

The university's Theatre in the Mill wants to hear what current and soon-to-be students have been up to during lockdown, after all of our lives changed so dramatically as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Entries are to be submitted by midnight on Sunday, 27 September, and winners will be awarded £40 and will also be featured on Theatre in the Mill's website.

On its website, Theatre in the Mill explains: "If you’re soon-to-be or already are a student at the University of Bradford, we’d love to hear your tales, thoughts and feelings about your experience of lockdown.

"You can write from whatever angle that feels meaningful to you, whether the end result is poetic, political or humorous.

"We’re not particular about word count, what we’re most excited about is to see what ideas you will explore and emotions your piece will evoke."
