STUDENTS at the University of Bradford pay the lowest rent in the UK, according to a study.
As the nation attempts to get back to some sense of normality post the worst of the Covid-19, students are now heading back to universities to kick of a new academic year.
Letting agent comparison site Rentround created a list of UK universities/undergrad colleges and what the average rents students can expect to pay.
Students at Bradford are getting the cheapest rent levels, with £424 per calendar month which works out at £144 per person per month, closely followed by its North East counterpart.

Meanwhile, the top 30 most expensive universities to rent at are central London-based establishments.
The SW7 postcode, filling up the top four postcodes is no surprise. They are: Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine; Royal College of Music; College of Art (The) and the Institute of Cancer Research: Royal Cancer Hospital (The). All four charge rentals of £2,996 per month, which works out as £1,016 per person, per month.
