A MOTORCYCLIST killed in a crash has been named as Bingley man Stuart Reynolds.

The 52-year-old was riding a black Suzuki motorbike on the B6255 between Hawes and Ingleton on August 15 when he was in collision with a silver Range Rover.

He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Mr Reynolds' family have thanked the members of the public who stopped to assist at the scene in a statement issued via North Yorkshire Police.

“We would like to extend our thanks to all the people who stopped and assisted Stuart that day," they said.

“He will be very sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.”

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision or for anyone who saw either vehicle immediately prior to the collision to get in touch.

In particular, any witnesses with dashcam or CCTV footage are asked to preserve it.
