LATEST NEWS: Another Bradford primary school confirms coronavirus case
A SCHOOL has responded to concerns over social distancing after a photograph emerged showing large crowds outside its gates as the new term began.
This image, of St Winefride's Catholic Primary School, Wibsey, was shared with the Telegraph & Argus and described as "very worrying".
The school said it was also concerned and has put extra measures in place to minimise risk.
Ben Lavin, Executive Headteacher, told the Telegraph & Argus: "As a school we have always communicated to all our parents to socially distance and in particular adhere to the two metre rule while dropping off and picking up their children.

"However as a result of this morning I became concerned about the lack of social distancing.
"As a senior leadership we met immediately and decided to minimise any further risk by staggering different year groups start and end times.
"This has now been communicated to all our parents."
