DUDLEY'S Books and Jigsaws has celebrated 50 years of business at Shipley Indoor Market.
Dudley Kavanagh of Shipley, started in the market with one unit in 1970 at the age of 22. Now 50 years later the business has expanded to five units.
The owner said the business is "still going strong".
Earlier this year, in February, the bookshop was refurbished and extended.
As well as selling new and good quality used books of different genres, he sells a range of jigsaws, puzzle books and colouring books.
Mr Kavanagh said: "We have a large number of dedicated readers who regularly visit us.
"These customers travel from other areas of Yorkshire including Wetherby, Halifax, Wyke and Brighouse.
"Many of our customers first came as children with their parents and now they bring their children."
