Terrorvision Picturedrome, Holmfirth

Forget the X Factor. If you want to know how to succeed as a performer look no further than Tony Wright.

The Terrovision frontman is one of those rare individuals who knows how to command an audience.

The lads have just completed their Lost Weekend' mini-tour taking in Man-chester, York, Holmfirth and Sheffield.

I wondered if they were going to be a little rusty after having been away for a while. Such concerns were swiftly kicked into touch as Tony and the guys belted out American TV, Middle Man, Oblivion, Josephine, Tequila and all the Terrovision standards.

Tony's banter between songs is as entertaining as the music. "I feel like KT Tunstall," he said, donning a guitar for one number. "Without the moustache of course!" he added, with reference to the 'tache he's sporting for a prostate cancer charity!

Bassist Danny Lambert, in for Leigh Marklew, more than made the role his own. Guitarist Mark Yates, complete with Stray Cats' hairdo, was as hot as ever, and drummer Shutty thumped out the beat that had us all shaking the Picturedrome.

This was definitely a gig not to be missed. And if Terrorvision are planning another lost weekend - count me in!
