A drugs courier from Bradford, who was caught by police with £500,000 of heroin in his car, is due to be sentenced by a judge today.
Father-of-two Steven Brophy, 26, of Mond Avenue, Bradford Moor, had previously pleaded guilty to possessing heroin with intent to supply.
He was remanded in custody for sentencing by Judge Scott Wolstenholme at Bradford Crown Court.
Brophy was stopped as he drove south along the M1 near Wakefield in June and found to have ten kilos of heroin in the car.
Drugs squad officers said a significant amount of drugs had been taken off the streets of West Yorkshire.
