TODAY is GCSE results day - but this year will be very different.
How will students celebrate their big news in an age of social distancing?
Schools have had to make a big decision as to whether to invite students in to pick up their results at all.
Some will be looking for an email - or logging on to their school’s internet portal - for news of their results.
But others have invited pupils to pick up their results in person, provided they adhere to social distancing rules.
That means no hugging, definitely no kissing and thinking twice before you leap into the air.
Elbow and fist bumps are more likely to be the way to celebrate in 2020.
It’s all a far cry from years past when pupils hugged and kissed after opening their envelopes.
We’ve delved into our archive to find these images of students celebrating over recent years.
