Britons get through billions of tea bags every year - that's an awful lot going to landfill. You can compost them instead, or why not put several old tea bags in the bottom of a hanging basket to stop it drying out too quickly or sow grass and seeds on used tea bags and use them to fill gaps in your lawn?
