STUCK animals have led West Yorkshire & Rescue being called out to a series of unusual incidents this week.
Fire crews from the county were called to a parrot stuck in a tree; Tilly, a horse stuck in an old mill pond; Kip the dog, who had managed to get through secure fencing and onto some railway tracks and had also became stuck.
The service posted the tweets as part of its #NotJustFires campaign, showing they attend a vast array of incidents including road traffic collisions and animal rescues.
Here are the tweets featuring the stuck animals:

๐ฆOur crews helped rescue a Parrot that had become stuck in a tree!
๐Firefighters used ladders to reach the bird & cut down some of the branches...
...But whilst working, the bird moved around and managed to free itself๐ ... pic.twitter.com/J6fcCQQeel
