A NATIONAL documentary on what life has been like for parents of newborn babies in Bradford during the coronavirus was broadcast last night.
Stacey Dooley spent a week at Bradford Royal Infirmary last month to film โPanorama: Stacey Dooley and the Lockdown Babiesโ.
The half-an-hour long programme saw Stacey meet pregnant women terrified of coronavirus, women giving birth and new mothers.
She also spoke to the hospitalโs midwives and doctors, who revealed how their lives have changed in order to protect mothers, babies and themselves from the risk of infection during the pandemic.
Here is some of the reaction to the programme from social media, including from Stacey herself:

Hope everyone enjoyed the little peep into @BTHFT maternity. The no 1 reason for allowing @StaceyDooley to film was to alleviate fears and give women confidence that life still goes on, we are here for you and we will keep you safe https://t.co/1Q2Q9ZnEPb

Superb work from BRI maternity unit on @BBCPanorama. Seeing those wards brings back memories of my 2, including the wait for the team to start my youngest breathing. Having covid as an extra fear must be so scary. Thank you @BTHFT for continuing to bring so many lives safely in.
