LATEST NEWS: Daily reported coronavirus deaths at Bradford district hospitals returns to zero

TWO more people who tested positive for coronavirus have died at hospitals in the Bradford district, according to the latest figures from NHS England.

Both deaths were reported by Bradford Royal Infirmary, with one reported to have happened on Saturday and one on Sunday.

NHS England publishes the figures at 2pm each day, including confirmed deaths reported at 4pm the previous day.

It brings the Bradford district's death toll to 347 - with 236 deaths reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, 109 by Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and two by Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

The two deaths in Bradford are two of five COVID-19-related deaths which have been reported nationally today, NHS England says.

The five deaths bring the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,352.

Patients were aged between 66 and 95 years old. All had known underlying health conditions.

Their families have been informed.
