Police have arrested a man and a youth after seizing a suspected haul of heroin and crack cocaine when they stopped and searched a car.

The 22-year-old and 17-year-old were in the car in Parkside Rise, Keighley, when they were stopped by officers from the Bradford District Drugs Team.

Officers searched the car and the men and also found a mobile phone and cash.

Both men were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A controlled drugs and were bailed until February.

Detective Inspector Neil Benstead, of the drugs team, said: "West Yorkshire Police are committed to tackling the nuisance that drugs and related crime cause our communities.
