NO new coronavirus-related deaths have been reported by Bradford hospitals today, according to the latest NHS figures.

According to NHS England, the total number of deaths at the Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Airedale Hospital and the Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust stands at 346.

Of those deaths, 235 were recorded by Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 109 by Airedale and two by the care trust.

The figures are updated at 2pm each day and include confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day.

NHS England says: "Confirmation of Covid-19 diagnosis, death notification, death certificates and reporting in central figures can take up to several days and the hospitals providing the data are under significant operational pressure.

"This means that the totals reported at 4pm on each day may not include all deaths that occurred on that day or on recent prior days."

Nationally, a further 12 people, who tested positive for the coronavirus, have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,329.

There were no deaths recorded at hospitals in the North East and Yorkshire region.

Patients were aged between 40 and 96 years old. All had known underlying health conditions.

Their families have been informed.
