A BRADFORD Bulls ace says a bike ride he completed to raise funds in memory of his grandfather was the hardest thing he has ever done.
Jordan Lilley, 23, was part of a nine-strong squad of cyclists riding from Liverpool to Leeds for the Alzheimer's Society.
He took on the challenge in honour of his grandfather Arthur, who died of the disease aged 84 in 2017.
Jordan and the squad, which includes players from Farsley Cricket Club, completed the ride along the towpath of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal in around 12 hours yesterday.
The Bulls half-back says he wanted to do the charity challenge for the charity for someone he idolised. He even bought his grandad's house in Stanningley after his death where he now lives with his girlfriend.

After completing the challenge, Lilley tweeted: “By far the hardest thing ever done. 122 miles back to Farsley Cricket Club.
“Took me to places I’ve never mean and nearly broke me as a person but we did it.
“Over £1,200 raise for Alzheimer’s Society. My old pal Arthur.”
