THERE were no further deaths from coronavirus recorded by hospitals in the Bradford district in the latest statistics.

It means that there have been no deaths reported from the disease for three days in a row.

NHS England updates the figures at 2pm each day, including confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day.

There have been 231 deaths recorded by Bradford Teaching Hospitals Trust, 108 at Airedale Hospital Trust and two at Bradford District Care Trust.

A further 16 people, who tested positive for the coronavirus (Covid-19), have died in hospitals in England, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths to 29,160.

Patients were aged between 47 and 93. All patients had known underlying health conditions. Their families have been informed.

The number of deaths by region are: East of England 2, London 0, Midlands 5, North East & Yorkshire 2, North West 3, South East 4, South West 0.
