ANOTHER man has been arrested on suspicion of assault after an incident in Otley at the weekend in which a man was seriously injured.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for information in relation to the incident which left the victim, an 18-year-old man, in a serious condition in hospital after emergency treatment.

The incident involved a disturbance in Kirkgate at about 9.30pm on Saturday.

Another 40-year-old man, who was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of assault, also remains in custody.

An 18-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of affray in relation to the incident, has been bailed pending further enquiries.

Detectives are still keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist the investigation.
