NAIL BARS and beauty salons are getting ready to re-open after the government advised that they are among the businesses able to open from Monday.

Beauty salons like C&H Hair and Nails in Wibsey (pictured) will not be able to perform for face treatments such as eyebrow threading, facials and make-up however.

Also included the latest wave of coronavirus relaxation measures are tanning booths and salons, tattoo parlours, body and skin piercing services, spas (saunas and steam rooms will be kept closed) and massage therapy clinics

They ask people to act sensibly to protect yourself, your friends, family, carers, staff and volunteers, and your local health and care services.

If you or anyone in your household has symptoms of coronavirus, however mild, you must immediately arrange to have a test, ring 119 or visit www.111.nhs.uk and not leave your home apart from to get tested.
