Rotary clubs across Bradford are uniting in an appeal to help victims of the cyclone which devastated Bangladesh.
Aid for more than 6,000 people has arrived in the country from the disaster relief charity ShelterBox - sponsored with the help of Rotary clubs.
But there are still hundreds of communities where aid has yet to arrive and the rotary clubs are asking for help.
Ken Robertshaw, Rotary's district governor for the Yorkshire region, said: "This is a massive disaster. Aid has still to reach some communities and many of the survivors are huddling out in the open with nowhere to call home and no possessions."
ShelterBox specialises in providing emergency accommodation and other survival essentials to disaster victims.
Aid is delivered in pre-packaged kits - ShelterBoxes' - each designed to help a family of ten survive for six months, with each containing a tent, blankets, cooking equipment, water containers and tools.
For every £1 donated, 90p goes on aid. To donate, or for information, call (01326) 569782 or visit www.shelterbox.org.
