A Christmas tree festival with a difference is being held in Queensbury this weekend.
Organised by members of Holy Trinity Church, the festival on December 1 and 2, will feature Christmas trees decorated on a whole host of themes by groups including schools, playgroups and Brownies.
Local shops are also taking part with some of the trees representing their services or goods.
The festival was first held last year, raising more than £600 for church funds. This year organisers are keen to attract more visitors and beat that target.
About 30 trees can be viewed at the church in West End, Queensbury, from 10am until 4pm on Saturday, December 1, and from noon until 4pm on Sunday, December 2.
There will also be a display by Queensbury History Society, a colouring corner for children, and refreshments will be served.
Admission is £1 for adults and free for children.
