A police speed gun
POLICE from Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team have conducted speed checks after issues of speeding vehicles have been raised.
Sixty-two cars were checked in Roberttown Lane, Liversedge, with only one being slightly above the speed limit and a verbal warning was given.
A total of 72 cars were checked on Dewsbury Road, Birstall, and all but three were under the speed limit.
The three above the limit were only slightly over and have been given verbal warnings.
