LOSING your mobile phone is not a reason to call 999 after police received such a call from a member of the public.
The West Yorkshire Police Contact Management Centre often tweet some of the more unusual phone calls they receive from the general public.
And this tweet was no exception after a 999 call by someone after they had lost their mobile and asked the police to get them a replacement phone.
Here is the Contact Centre’s tweet in full:
