NO further coronavirus-related deaths have been reported by hospitals in the Bradford district today, for the second day running.

NHS England's latest figures - which are updated at 2pm every day, and include confirmed death cases reported at 4pm the previous day - show that there have been no new deaths reported by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Airedale NHS Foundation Trust or Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

It means the total death toll at hospitals in the Bradford district still stands at 338 - with 228 deaths at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 108 at Airedale and two at Bradford District Care.

Nationally, a further 42 people who tested positive for the virus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 28,969, NHS England said today.

Six of those 42 deaths took place at hospitals in the North East & Yorkshire region. The most deaths - 13 - took place in the Midlands region, while there were zero deaths reported at hospitals in the South West.

The 42 patients were aged between 22 and 100 years old. Six patients, aged between 60 and 94, had no known underlying health conditions. 

Their families have been informed.
