A judge has told two Bradford men he would be disappointed to see them back in court.

Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC told Abusafian Majid and Samad Majid: "You must be extremely embarrassed about your bad behaviour."

With them in the dock at Leeds Crown Crown yesterday was Rizwan Khan, 35, of Middlecroft Road, Leeds.

All three had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to assaulting Syed Shah in Manningham, Bradford, in June last year, causing him actual bodily harm.

Prosecutor Nick Askins said the defendants confronted Mr Shah at his home and attacked him outside. He was treated in hospital for a broken nose, head wounds and bruising.

All three defendants told police Mr Shah went to punch Khan and he was either pushed or fell.

Khan was also sentenced for supplying cocaine to an undercover officer in Leeds in December.

Abusafian Majid, 24, and Samad Majid, 27, both of Manningham Lane, Bradford, were each sentenced to 80 hours unpaid work.

Khan was sentenced to 12 months, suspended for two years, a supervision order and curfew. He must do 100 hours unpaid work.

The judge said: "I would be personally and professionally very disappointed to see any of you again." He said he would deal with any breach of the sentences himself.
