One of the country's most successful women in the racing world is to feature at the next Ribble Valley & White Rose Ladies fundraising luncheon, on Monday December 3, at The Rendezvous Hotel, in Skipton.
North Yorkshire racing trainer Ann Duffield, who runs her racing yard at Constable Burton, will be revealing tales of the racing life and her marriage to the country's seventh most successful jockey, the much loved Gentleman George' Duffield.
Funds raised by the event will help to provide money for vital work by Cancer Research UK into the causes and treatment of childrens cancer, for which the Ribble Valley & White Rose Ladies have contributed over £500, 000 since they formed in 1999.
The event begins at 10.30am. Only a few remaining tickets at £25 are available from 01756 700100 or The Rendezvous reception, with cheques payable to RV/WRL.
