SUNBRIDGEWELLS will NOT reopen this weekend in the "interest of public safety".
Saturday, July 4, marks a momentous occasion across England, with pubs and restaurants able to open for the first time since the coronavirus crisis and lockdown.
Many drinking holes across Bradford have announced they will reopen this weekend, with strict measures in place to ensure people are kept safe.
But underground arcade, Sunbridgewells, which hosts eight venues under one roof, has announced it will not open its doors on Saturday.
A post on its Facebook page from this morning said: "In the interest of public safety, we feel it's too early to open our doors on the 4th July.
"This has been a difficult decision to make, however we feel we are making the right choice.
"We hope to see you all very soon, in better times. Stay safe people."
