LATEST NEWS: One new coronavirus death reported at hospitals in Bradford district

THERE were no further deaths from coronavirus in Bradford district hospitals reported on Monday.

That means the number of deaths in district hospitals remains at 332 with 222 deaths recorded at BRI, 108 at Airedale and two at the Bradford District Care Trust.

The figures are up to date as of 5pm on Sunday.

Nationally, as of then, of those who tested positive for coronavirus, across all settings, 43,575 people have sadly died.

That was a rise of 25 on the previous day's figure.

As of 9am on Monday, there have been 9,290,215 tests, with 93,881 tests on Sunday.

A total of 311,965 people have tested positive an increase of 815 on the day before.

There have know been 1,455 cases recorded in the Bradford district, a rate of 270.9 cases per 100,000 population.

That compares to a rate of 241.4 in Leeds, 182.8 in Kirklees and 145.2 in Calderdale.

In hospital across England, a further 19 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 28,672.

Patients were aged between 60 and 96 years old. All patients had known underlying health conditions. 

Their families have been informed.
