A YOUNG burglar stole a pressure washer and a hedge trimmer from a Bradford house.
Ronald Horvath, 21, of Laisteridge Lane, appeared via videolink from prison before Bradford Crown Court yesterday to be sentenced for the burglary, on Little Horton Lane, in December 2018. The court heard a cellar window of the house had been smashed to gain entry. The items stolen were valued at around £150, while repairs to the window cost around £100.
Fingerprints and blood found at the scene were forensically linked to Horvath.
He was sentenced to seven months imprisonment, but will be released “immediately or very soon” as the days he has spent on remand in custody will count towards the serving of the sentence. He was also ordered to pay £140 compensation.
