A MOTORBIKE that was left outside a Bradford property for two days had been stolen from Hungary last year.
West Yorkshire Police's Bradford East team were called to an address in their area by a member of the public this morning.
The individual had noticed a silver Yahama motorbike parked up outside their property for two days.
Officers arrived and discovered the bike had actually been stolen from Hungary - which is more than 1,000 miles away from Bradford - last year.
They vowed to return the motorbike to its "rightful owner".
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "Member of the public has noticed this bike outside their property for a couple of days, so they decided to report it.
"Turns out that the motorbike had been stolen in Hungary last year.
"Time to get it back to it's rightful owner.
"Big thank you to the member of the public who reported it to the police."
