KEY WORKERS in the NHS, emergency services and Bradford Council social services and social care got a free in-vehicle sterilisation service at the former Richard Dunn sports centre car park in Odsal today.

The service usually costs £5 but is being offered to qualifying staff for free on Thursday and Friday this week.

The process, vehicle sterilisation, involves spraying an electronically charged mist onto surfaces in the interior of vehicles to help stop the spread of the Covid-19 Coronavirus.

It is an extremely effective way of sterilising vehicles which are frequently used by large number of different people and which are difficult to clean by conventional methods.

Each vehicle sterilised will be issued with a Certificate of Guarantee for antibacterial and antiviral cleanse.

The service is by prior appointment only which can made between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday by calling 01274 431000 and confirming you work for the Council.

Upon arrival at the sterilisation station all you need to do is confirm your vehicle registration and provide your workplace ID. It is quick and easy and users can drive away in six minutes.
