NO FURTHER coronavirus deaths have been reported at Bradford district hospitals in the last 24 hours.

The news means the total death toll at hospitals in the Bradford district remains at 331 - 221 at Bradford Royal Infirmary, 108 at Airedale Hospital and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.

On Tuesday and Wednesday one extra death was recorded at BRI.

Nationally, as of 5pm yesterday, of those tested positive for coronavirus, across all settings, 43,230 have sadly died, an increase of 149 on the previous day.

As of 9am today there have been 8,710,292 tests, with 167,023 tests yesterday.

A total of 307,980 people have tested positive.

A further 55 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died in hospitals in England bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths to 28,490.

Patients were aged between 49 and 98 years old. One patient, aged 70, had no known underlying health conditions.

Their families have been informed.
