TWO lorries were involved in an accident on the M62 Westbound from J27 M621 (Gildersome) to J26 M606 J1 (Chain Bar) this morning, which caused long delays and queuing traffic for nine miles.
Lanes one, two and three (of four) were blocked, with delays also on the opposite side, as drivers slowed down to look at the scene.
All lanes have now been re-opened, however, with lanes one and two re-opening at around 9.45am.
Further details of the accident are not yet known.
