THERE has been one further coronavirus-related hospital death in Bradford, it has been reported today.
According to NHS England figures, the death was recorded by Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and is reported to have happened yesterday.
It brings the COVID-19 death toll for hospitals in the Bradford district to 326, according to NHS data.
Of those 326 reported deaths, 216 were recorded at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 108 at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and two at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Nationally, NHS England reported today that a further 46 people who tested positive for the virus have died in hospitals.
Seven of those deaths happened at hospitals in the 'North East & Yorkshire' region.
It brings the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 28,221.
Patients were aged between 12 and 97 years old. Two patients, aged 65 and 85, had no known underlying health conditions.
Their families have been informed.
