A man accused of murdering a Keighley student has made his first appearance before a crown court judge.
Dawood Khan, whom prosecutors believe is aged about 20, is charged with murdering Nazeer Ahmed, 22, who died from severe head injuries at his home in Rupert Street, Lawkholme, in May.
Khan appeared before the Honorary Recorder of Bradford, Judge Stephen Gullick, for a preliminary hearing today.
A provisional trial date has been set for May 12.
Khan has been bailed to Stockton Hall Hospital, York, and will next attend Bradford Crown Court on March 31.
