A MAN aged 62 has pleaded guilty to selling cocaine and heroin in Shipley.
Paul Simmonds admitted two offences of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs at a hearing at Bradford Crown Court today.
Simmonds, formerly of Quebec Street in central Bradford, but now living in Wakefield, will be sentenced on July 17 along with a female co-accused.
The drugs trafficking offences took place in Prospect Grove, Shipley, on October 15, 2018.
Simmonds denied a charge of possession of £240 as criminal property on the same date and his not guilty plea to that offence was accepted by Rukhshanda Hussain for the Crown.
John Bottomley, Simmonds’ solicitor advocate, asked for the preparation of a report from the probation service.
Judge Colin Burn told Simmonds: “A custodial sentence is almost unavoidable.”
His bail was enlarged until the sentencing hearing.
