A HOMELESS man from Bradford is appealing for information after he says that his dog - who he describes as "the only thing I have that is helping me get my life back on track" - has now been missing for ten days.

Kevin Clarke says that, on 3 June, he "passed out" due to a health condition that he has, and when he woke up, in the grounds of The New Beehive Inn on Westgate, his dog, Tye, was no longer by his side.

Mr Clarke says that Tye (pictured) would never leave him, and has always stayed with him through "thick and thin."

As such, he believes that Tye did not leave of his own accord, and may have been stolen by someone.

According to a spokesperson from Busters Animal SOS Team, a group in the Bradford district which helps to search for missing pets, reports on social media - which were circulating just hours after Tye's disappearance - were suggesting that a member of the public had seen the dog being "brutally kicked."

The spokesperson said that Tye was rescued from this ordeal by another member of the public, but his whereabouts remain unknown.

Mr. Clarke said: "I haven’t slept or eaten in ten days, since Tye was taken away from me. He is my life, my best friend and the only thing I have that is helping me get my life back on track.

"If you have Tye, or you know where he is, then I beg you to please send him home. I am broken."

A spokesperson from Busters Animal SOS Team, said: "We are urging the public to get in touch. This is important to us because Tye is a much-loved part of Kevin’s life. Please do the right thing and offer your support.
