POLICE stopped a person driving a GT sports car with a large hole in the windscreen today.

Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Roads Policing Unit (RPU) spotted the multicoloured vehicle on Gibbet Street, in Halifax, this afternoon.

It was a GT sports car, with a black base colour, an orange bonnet and a blue front bumper.

But the car was heavily damaged.

Its windscreen had a large hole in it, there were no wipers and it also had no number plate.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "This vehicle was seen being driven, not on a recovery truck.

"This vehicle is in a dangerous condition."

The driver was reported for their offences.
