ONE further coronavirus-related hospital death has been reported in Bradford.

The latest figures from NHS England show the death was recorded by the Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. 

The patient died yesterday. No further deaths were reported by Airedale or the Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. 

This means the total number of hospital deaths for the Bradford district, according to the latest data provided by the NHS stands at 318 - 208 at Bradford Teaching Hospitals, 108 at Airedale and two at the care trust.

Nationally, the deaths of a further 88 people who tested positive for Covid-19 were announced, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 27,707.

Twelve of those patients were in the Yorkshire and North East region.

Patients were aged between 43 and 102 years old.  Three patients, aged between 53 and 87, had no known underlying health conditions.  

Their families have been informed.
