Rock'n'Roll Reunion, Bradford Hilton Hotel
What a wonderful night it was with the teenagers of yesteryear dancing and jiving - more than 500 ageless people, in most cases pensioners, rocking the night way to Bradford's own groups of the 1950s and 1960s.
Mike Sagar and the Cresters, The Mel Clark 4 and Garth Cawood's Dingos played and sang the hits of those days, each group still represented by the original members.
Bradford's own glamorous disc-jockey Swinging Sue was also on hand to entertain the gyrating couples with her rock'n'roll selection of records.
Some of the youth of today could certainly learn from all those smiling, grey-haired people, mostly grandmothers and grandfathers, who moved and jived with flair to the music.
It was happy people reliving their past, at least for a few hours a reminder of a time that will never return.
Next year will see the 50th anniversary reunion of the Bradford groups. Can't wait to see all those wonderful rock'n'rollers again.
