A BRADFORD school has donated over thirty hampers to staff at Bradford Royal Infirmary as a thank you for their work during the covid-19 pandemic.

Feversham Academy made the hampers after students, parents and staff raised over £900 to pay for an assortment of goodies and treats, to express their appreciation to NHS staff.

Sajida Muneer, the Principal at Feversham Academy said: “Students, parents and staff wanted to say ‘Thank You”, to the wonderful staff at the BRI, with a small token of recognition for all their incredible work.

At Feversham Academy we believe in taking an active role in our local community. The current crisis is helping us in our mission to create a sense of responsibility amongst our students of the local, national and global issues.”

Feversham Academy is part of Feversham Education Trust - which previously donated around 200 face masks, protective goggles and glasses to the NHS at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
