A group of skating housewives are putting a new spin on ladies who lunch.
Teacher Sue Hughes is looking for new members to glide with her as part of her Wednesday's House-wives class.
"It beats coffee and cake, it's healthier too - although we do have a little break for biscuits," she said.
Sue, 49, who lives in the Bolton Road area of the city, has been teaching skating at Bradford ice rink for 18 years and was only eight when she put on a pair of blades for the first time.
"My mum liked skating so took me along, that's how it all started," she said. The Housewives class is every Wednes-day from 9am to 11am.
Anyone wanting to go along and give it a twirl needs to have reached at least stage seven of the Skating UK levels.
"We do spirals, spins and jumps, you name it. It's not all serious stuff though, it's more of a social morning with a bit of a twist.
"Our members so far tend to be either women with children at school or those whose young ones have grown up and flown the nest so have a bit of extra time on their hands."
To find out more, call Sue on (07976) 323718.
